Microsoft applications are the backbone of thousands of organizations, with identity as the central point of control that connects the entire environment. Establishing trust in identities is critical, and to strengthen security, many organizations are adopting an approach that verifies not just the users but also the devices connecting to applications.
Over the past year, we have seen the rapid growth in Microsoft Intune’s adoption particularly for customers who previously were using Active Directory Directory Services or Microsoft SCCM for managing their corporate-issued devices. The Microsoft Intune integration will cover iOS, Android, and Windows devices (8.1 and above) managed by Intune.
Introducing Duo Device Health. It works at the application layer. Duo Device Health application is integrated into the Duo authentication path and protects applications that end users access via the Duo web prompt for two-factor authentication. It works for both cloud/SaaS and on-premise applications.
Let’s face it, no one uses only one platform and it is great to have options available to address that. We all have third-party applications that we use and having the ability to leverage Microsoft Entra ID with Duo allows for a much wider coverage area than might have been thought possible before.
